FAQ
What is the difference between Nova and Polaris? Native Polaris is very gentle, perfect for beginners or very calm bees. Native Nova is more powerful and is the professional’s choice.
How long do the coils last? In theory, indefinitely. A coil that is properly soaked before use, in a device stored dry and used with a normally operated bellows, does not wear out mechanically. In practice, vapour density drops gradually as vaporisation residue builds up on the filament, so we recommend replacing it two to three times a year to keep the vapour at its best. That is maintenance, not a failure. This pack includes two spares.
Is the device repairable? Yes, entirely. Every part is available through after sales support: battery, bellows, circuit board and shell.
My bees are a little nervous. Is this pack enough? If your bees are from a defensive line, or if you do heavy work such as splits or harvest, we recommend the Nova Pack. The Polaris Pack is built for routine checks, feeding and standard colonies.
What are the Native formulas made of? The active ingredients in the Native formulas are exclusively molecules of floral origin, found in the flowers that bees forage. They are not essential oils. Learn more
